Weekly online tips & tricks – Editing images on your phone

In our weekly series of tips & tricks, we will often include useful apps. Today we focus on photo editing using your phone and we present you three very interesting applications.

1. Adobe Lightroom: The most competent image editing app

The computer world has been dominated by it for a long time, and the mobile version is a big help for those who want to edit their images for social media. We advise you to watch a few short video tutorials, but the app is easy to use even without them. We especially recommend the Texture option found under the Effects tab!

Note: Unlike the PC and Mac versions, the mobile Lightroom is free (you only have to pay for one or two extra features, but these are not necessary)!

2. Unfold: App for Instagram Stories

According to the poll conducted on our Facebook group (click here), most of you are interested in useful apps, so here’s the next one! Unfold provides quick help for Instagram stories, and you can edit (very quickly) images with the right resolution and size based on ready-made templates. Although there are also premium ones, you can do a lot with the free ones also (the templates pictured below are free). Fun fact: You can make a chain of these pics.

3. Snapseed

Latest generation smartphones are rapidly replacing DSLR professional cameras for both social media content creation, and the best value for your money. And Snapseed is one of the most professional photo editing apps out there. It’s easy to use, has many useful features, but you’re all even if you use only the first line of the menu. Besides, it’s FREE!

Tip: Do not use the Looks menu but instead look in Tools. The Ambiance option from Details, Curves and Tune Image will help you the most!
