Tusványos – Shot from a different perspective

I. Idea

The Bálványos Free Summer University and Student Camp (more commonly known as Tusványos) is the largest intellectual workshop of the Carpathian Basin held annually in Băile Tușnad, Romania (Hungarian: Tusnádfürdő) which originally intended to promote cross-border cooperation. As a result of the very successful cooperation in 2018, apart from the design and online communication, this year we’ve been asked to shoot a few video clips to show the world that this is a trully one of a kind event.

II. Videography

The client needed one short clip for every day of the event to present the whole atmosphere of the festival. We wanted to tell a story with every single one of the clips. How a day looked like for the people of Tusványos. Among the equipment used by our team, we have to mention the professional drone with which we managed to capture aerial images of the festival itself, as well as the sorroundings’ natural beauty. We wanted to present the event in a different perspective, shooting the clips either in color or in black and white, constantly switching the camera angles. Below you can see the results. 🙂

LECO Impex – Corporate video clips

I. Idea

Leco Impex is one of the leading distributors of industrial and agricultural maintenance equipment for the after-market in Romania. They target especially industrial and agricultural production units as well as shops in the Transylvania region and around the country.

II. Videography

The customer needed two short clips to present the company’s main business. Among the equipment used by our team, we have to mention the professional drone with which we managed to capture aerial images of the firm’s headquarters in Târgu Mureş. After filming for several days the raw materials were edited, resulting in two professional video clips.

Mures Half Marathon – The largest event of its kind in the city

I. Idea

Mureş Runners is an association of athletes of all ages united by the passion for movement, who want to reach the lives of as many people as possible, through the extraordinary way in which sport forms characters, brings health and transforms destinies through the victorious mentality it instills.

The Mureş Half Marathon is the largest event of its kind in the city, aspiring to become a representative one, also one that’s emblematic at a regional and national level in developing the community.

II. Visual Identity 

The team behind the event wanted some changes to the already existing brand. We were responsible for modifying all the design elements such as the logo, the medal, the runners’ vests, the volunteers’ t-shirts, the start-finish gate, the banners used, etc.

III. Social Media Communication

We provided support for the materials posted on Facebook, using the new design’s colors. On the official Instagram page, we used both Facebook posts and original content designed specifically for this social media network.

IV. Webpage 

We took over the existing WordPress-based website and developed it with a responsive design that gives users a great browsing experience regardless of the screen resolution used for viewing (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone).

Submarine – Pub & Bar in Cluj-Napoca

I. Idea

A night out that’s 20,000 leagues under the sea: Cluj-Napoca’s Submarine bar complete with torpedoes, control panels, periscopes, visible pipes, bolted metal doors, radars and maps, takes you on a journey into the deep. Working with them was very inspiring and a feast for the eyes.

II. Branding

It was a real pleasure to work with this steampunk bar. The place includes two serving bars that have the shape of a submarine made of metal, an anti-aircraft booth for the DJ desk, and mobile torpedoes on the ceiling. The small room is called the engine room, because of the big propeller powered by engines. Inspired by its representative steampunk style, we redesigned the whole visual identity, while editing a corporate identity manual. We changed the logo a bit and chose a different font, designing everything: the menus, posters, banners and all the online Facebook and Instagram visual content (page covers, profile pictures, event covers).

Tusványos – Social Media On a New Level

I. Idea

The Bálványos Free Summer University and Student Camp (more commonly known as Tusványos) is the largest intellectual workshop of the Carpathian Basin held annually in Băile Tușnad, Romania (Hungarian: Tusnádfürdő) which originally intended to promote cross-border cooperation. The 2019 edition is the second one where we have contributed to the design and online communication of the event, as a result of the very successful cooperation of 2018.

II. Design & Social Media

The online visual image of the event was designed together with the organizer team’s graphic designer. It was our job to administer the Facebook page of the event, and for the first time ever we created an Instagram page, which featured also original content designed specifically for this platform. It’s important to note that during the 2018 one-week event, the shared content was viewed by Instagram users 754,623 times. This means an average of 46.40 times per person!
